Private Jets Taking off Again
By Allison Medoff

Return of the private jets? Will the grounded be airborne once more? London City Airport saw a 44 percent increase in passengers traveling by private aircraft in May, up significantly from the previous month. This is actually the highest monthly jump in almost five years.
“The improvement was largely due to passengers in the financial sector starting to travel again,” said a spokesman for the Docklands air terminal.
Don’t lower the red flags just yet. The number of passengers using private aviation is still down 22 percent from the previous year, but the monthly increase is sure to be a good sign for the months ahead.
