Financially speaking, 2009 has been a tough year for some, but apparently not for a 60-year-old Israeli woman and her fortunate furry friend. According to recent reports, the woman identified as Rivkah, shelled out $32,000 to have her precious pooch accompany her in business class on a four-hour flight from Paris to Tel Aviv. She bought out the entire business class section, reserving the space aboard the El Al commercial jet for herself, her dog, and the dog’s veterinarian. The boxer, named Orchuk, stayed in the cage, although several seats had to be removed in order to create the appropriate space. Cargo hold would never do!
