Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026 at a glance
The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix runs Thursday through Saturday, November 19–21, 2026, on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. Every session runs at night. The official schedule (all times PST):
- Thursday, Nov 19: Gates open 2:30pm. Practice 1 at 4:30pm, Practice 2 at 8pm. Gates close 10:30pm.
- Friday, Nov 20: Gates open 2:30pm. Practice 3 at 4:30pm, Qualifying at 8pm. Gates close 9:30pm.
- Saturday, Nov 21: Gates open 2:30pm. The race starts at 8pm. Gates close 11pm. The official post-race show with the Backstreet Boys is at Sphere that night.
The race ends late Saturday night, five days before Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26). Many guests fly out on Sunday, November 22, at the start of Thanksgiving week.
Which airport should you fly into?

LAS is the shortest ride to the circuit and the only one of the three with 24-hour FBOs, which matters if you want to leave right after the race. HND is the county's primary reliever to LAS, with a 24,000-square-foot terminal, 84 acres of ramp, and planeside limousine service. VGT suits guests staying downtown or on the north end of the Strip.
Note that the HND and VGT FBOs say they cannot accept third-party food deliveries. Arrange catering through your operator.
Timing around race nights and Thanksgiving week
- Request your quote now. Atlantic, HND and VGT all list race-week ramp, permission or fee notices. Booking early gives you the most aircraft and ramp options.
- Arrive by Wednesday, Nov 18, or early Thursday. Gates open at 2:30pm each day. Arriving the day before Practice 1 avoids the Thursday afternoon rush.
- Plan your late-night exit. The race starts at 8pm Saturday and gates close at 11pm. HND and VGT FBOs close at 10:30pm, with after-hours service for a fee. LAS FBOs are open around the clock.
- Expect a busy Sunday. Many race guests leave Sunday, Nov 22. HND's prior-permission window runs through Nov 23. If you are flying on to a Thanksgiving destination, tell us when you request your quote so we can plan both legs together.
- Allow extra transfer time. The circuit runs on the Las Vegas Strip, so build extra time into transfers between your FBO and your hotel on race nights.
