Safety First
Private Jet Safety & Operator Vetting Standards
Haute Jets arranges private jet charters only through Part 135 certified operators using Wyvern Wingman, ARGUS Gold/Platinum, or IS-BAO rated aircraft, FAA-certified ATP pilots, rigorous operator screening, third-party safety audits, and 24/7 flight monitoring for each mission with real-time weather oversight.
Our Commitment to Safety
At Haute Jets, we believe luxury and safety are inseparable. Before any aircraft enters our network, it must clear a multi-layered vetting process that goes well beyond regulatory minimums. We hold ourselves to the same standards trusted by heads of state, Fortune 500 executives, and discerning travelers worldwide.
Our internal safety team continuously monitors operator performance, maintenance records, and pilot qualifications — ensuring that every flight you take with us meets the gold standard of private aviation.

Industry-Leading Ratings
Certifications & Partnerships
Wyvern Wingman
Wyvern's Wingman standard represents the pinnacle of aviation safety auditing. Every operator we source from has been independently evaluated for operational control, pilot training, maintenance practices, and safety management systems.
ARGUS Gold & Platinum
ARGUS International provides the most comprehensive safety ratings in the charter industry. We exclusively source from operators rated Gold or Platinum — the top tier — ensuring proven track records and rigorous operational oversight.
IS-BAO Registered
The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), developed by IBAC, is a globally recognized code of best practices. We source from operators registered to IS-BAO Stages I, II, and III, with documented safety management systems.
FAA Part 135 Certified
All operators we work with hold current FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificates (or international equivalents), meeting or exceeding federal requirements for on-demand air charter operations, crew rest, aircraft maintenance, and operational procedures.
NBAA & EBAA Membership
Haute Jets stays active with the National Business Aviation Association and European Business Aviation Association to track industry best practices, regulatory developments, and emerging safety technologies on behalf of our clients.

Flight Crew
Pilot Standards & Training
The people in the cockpit matter as much as the aircraft itself. We require every pilot flying under our brand to meet experience, training, and proficiency benchmarks that exceed industry norms.
ATP-Rated Pilots
Every flight is operated by a minimum of two pilots holding Airline Transport Pilot certificates — the highest level of pilot certification issued by the FAA.
Minimum Flight Hours
Our pilots carry thousands of hours of total flight time, with substantial experience in the specific aircraft type assigned to your trip.
Recurrent Training
Pilots complete simulator-based recurrent training programs on a regular cycle, covering emergency procedures, advanced maneuvers, and crew resource management.
Health & Wellness Compliance
All crew members maintain current FAA medical certificates and adhere to strict rest requirements, ensuring peak performance on every flight.
Rigorous Process
How We Vet Every Aircraft
No aircraft enters our network by default. Each one must pass a comprehensive, multi-step vetting process before it's ever offered to a client.

Operator Screening
We verify each operator's FAA certifications, insurance coverage, safety history, and organizational structure before they enter our network.
Third-Party Audits
Independent safety organizations — including Wyvern, ARGUS, and IS-BAO — conduct thorough audits of operational procedures, training programs, and compliance records.
Maintenance Review
Aircraft maintenance logs, inspection schedules, and component life-cycle data are reviewed to confirm every aircraft meets or exceeds airworthiness standards.
Ongoing Monitoring
Our safety team performs continuous performance reviews. Operators that fall below our benchmarks are removed from the network immediately.

Common Questions
Private Jet Safety — Frequently Asked Questions
Wyvern Wingman is the highest safety rating issued by Wyvern Limited, an independent aviation safety auditing firm. To earn Wingman status, an operator must pass a comprehensive audit covering operational control procedures, pilot training and qualifications, maintenance practices, and safety management systems. Wyvern Wingman is the certification of choice for Fortune 500 flight departments, government agencies, and heads of state. Every operator in the Haute Jets network holds current Wyvern Wingman certification.
ARGUS International issues three charter operator ratings: ARGUS Registered, ARGUS Gold, and ARGUS Platinum. Registered is the entry level. Gold requires a full on-site audit of the operator's safety management system, training programs, and operational procedures. Platinum is the highest tier — it requires everything Gold demands plus an additional on-site audit of flight operations, including observation of crew training and simulator evaluations. Haute Jets partners exclusively with ARGUS Gold and ARGUS Platinum operators — the top two tiers only.
FAA Part 135 is the federal regulation governing on-demand and commuter air carrier operations in the United States. An operator holding a Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate has been vetted by the Federal Aviation Administration and must comply with strict requirements covering pilot training and rest, aircraft maintenance, operational procedures, and record keeping. Flying with a Part 135 operator is a legal requirement for commercial private jet charter in the US. All Haute Jets operators hold current FAA Part 135 certificates.
Haute Jets provides your aircraft's tail number 24 hours before departure. With the tail number, you can independently verify the aircraft's registration and maintenance history through the FAA Aircraft Registry at faa.gov. Additionally, every aircraft in the Haute Jets network has been independently audited by Wyvern, ARGUS, or IS-BAO before it is offered to clients. Our operations team reviews maintenance logs, airworthiness certificates, and inspection records as part of the booking process. If any concern arises about an aircraft's readiness, Haute Jets will source an alternative before your flight.
If a safety concern is identified — mechanical, weather, or operational — Haute Jets will not allow the flight to proceed. Our operations team monitors every flight 24 hours in advance. If an aircraft requires maintenance, we source a replacement of equivalent or superior specification at no additional cost. If weather conditions pose a risk, our team works with the flight crew to identify an alternate departure window or routing. Client safety is never compromised for schedule or convenience. You will be notified immediately and presented with options.
On-demand private jet charter operated under FAA Part 135 by Wyvern Wingman, ARGUS Platinum, or IS-BAO rated operators is among the safest forms of air travel available. Private jet operators in the Haute Jets network must pass safety audits that go significantly beyond FAA minimums. Private jets also offer operational advantages: direct flights eliminate connection-related risks, smaller airports reduce ground congestion, and crews operate with lower passenger-to-crew ratios. That said, all forms of commercial aviation in the US operate under rigorous federal oversight and are statistically very safe.
