The 2027 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am runs February 1–7, 2027, on the Monterey Peninsula. It is one of the PGA TOUR's Signature Events, with a $20 million purse and a field of 80 professionals and 80 amateurs. The tournament rounds are February 4–7 at Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill. The closest airport for a private jet is Monterey Regional (MRY), about 6 miles from Pebble Beach Golf Links and roughly 15 minutes by car. This guide covers which airport to use, the parking and permission rules at MRY, the full week's schedule and how to time your flights.
Haute Jets is a private jet charter broker, not an operator. We arrange flights with Wyvern- and ARGUS-rated FAA Part 135 operators, with access to 3,500+ vetted aircraft. No jet cards and no membership fees. Most quotes arrive within 60 minutes.

Monterey Regional (MRY): the obvious choice
MRY is the closest airport with a runway long enough for most business jets. Pebble Beach Resorts puts it about 15 minutes from Pebble Beach Golf Links and The Lodge, and about 20 minutes from Spyglass Hill. The main runway, 10R/28L, is 7,175 ft long and 150 ft wide, with arresting-material overrun areas (EMAS) at both ends. The control tower is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. MRY is also a customs landing-rights airport, so international arrivals are possible with advance arrangement.
MRY has two full-service FBOs:
- Monterey Jet Center, 300 Sky Park Drive, (831) 373-0100. It lists 10 acres of ramp that can handle aircraft up to a Boeing 767, plus concierge, catering and car-and-driver arrangements.
- Del Monte Aviation, 100 Sky Park Drive, (831) 373-4151. It lists 16 acres of ramp and says it can handle aircraft up to a Boeing 757 or C-17.
Monterey Jet Center lists Avfuel-branded fuel, and Del Monte Aviation lists Jet-A and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The airport also has a landing fee for aircraft over 6,000 lb, and the FBOs set their own handling and overnight parking charges, so ask for them to be included in the quote.
Salinas (SNS) and the smaller fields
Salinas Municipal has a 6,004 ft runway and is about 20 miles from Pebble Beach. It is a sensible backup for midsize jets if MRY parking fills up, but its tower closes at 7 p.m. in winter. Marina (OAR) and Watsonville (WVI) are closer to the peninsula or the north county, but they have shorter runways and no tower, so they mainly suit turboprops and light jets. Your operator checks the runway performance for the aircraft and weather.
San José (SJC): the big-airport fallback
San José International has an 11,000 ft runway and private terminals from Signature and Atlantic. Pebble Beach Resorts estimates the drive at 1 to 1.5 hours, so SJC makes sense only if you are combining Pebble with a Bay Area stop. AirNav also lists overnight curfew hours at SJC for some aircraft, so check departure times with the operator.
MRY parking: get permission early
This is the part most travelers miss. AirNav's remarks for MRY say transient parking is limited and that prior permission (PPR) is required for large and turbine-powered multi-engine aircraft, by calling (831) 648-7000, option 2. The airport also has an online prior permission request form, which requires you to pick your FBO. Your operator files this, but the earlier it goes in, the better.
We know how busy MRY gets during big events. KSBW reported that more than 500 private aircraft landed at Monterey Jet Center during the ten days of Monterey Car Week in August 2025. Del Monte Aviation charges event fees and requires FBO slots during Car Week. We have not seen either FBO post Pro-Am event fees or slot rules for 2027, so ask the FBO when you book. Treat Pro-Am week the same way: lock in the aircraft and the ramp space together.
MRY also asks for quiet overnight. AirNav lists noise abatement procedures from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., and the airport's PPR form describes noise abatement from midnight to 5 a.m. Plan late-night arrivals and early departures with your operator.

Flight-planned distances are longer, and winter headwinds can make westbound flights from the East Coast much slower. The jet size column is a starting point; the operator confirms the right aircraft for your group, golf bags and route. Compare categories on our light, midsize, super-midsize and heavy jet pages.

Golf bags and aircraft choice
A golf trip changes the aircraft math. Every player brings a full-size travel bag, and bags take far more room than suitcases. A light jet that seats six may only carry four players with clubs. Tell us the number of golf bags up front, and the operator will confirm what fits in the baggage hold. Our guide to choosing the right private jet for a golf trip covers this in more detail.
How to time your flights
Monterey is on Pacific time, three hours behind New York. Here is how we would plan Pro-Am week:
- Playing as an amateur: arrive by the weekend before. Practice rounds start Monday, February 1, and the tournament courses are closed to the public all week.
- Watching the weekend: the third and final rounds are at Pebble Beach Golf Links only. Arriving Friday, February 5, gives you Saturday and Sunday at the 18th green.
- Leaving after the final round: play is scheduled to finish about 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The MRY tower closes at 9 p.m., and noise abatement starts at 11 p.m., so plan a Sunday evening departure with the operator in advance. Many guests will be leaving at the same time.
- Heading straight to Scottsdale: the WM Phoenix Open runs February 8–14, 2027, the following week. MRY to Scottsdale is about 519 nm, a short hop.
For ground transport, Pebble Beach Resorts recommends its own transportation service, which you can reach at (831) 649-7606, and both MRY FBOs can arrange cars.
Make it a West Coast golf swing
The Pro-Am kicks off a busy February. The WM Phoenix Open follows February 8–14 at TPC Scottsdale, and the Genesis Invitational is February 15–21 at Riviera, according to the PGA TOUR's 2027 schedule. The Super Bowl LXI falls in the same month. If you are coming back to Pebble Beach, the 127th U.S. Open is at Pebble Beach Golf Links June 14–20, 2027, its seventh U.S. Open. For other golf trips, see our guides to flying private to the Masters and the closest airport to Bandon Dunes.
We don't publish made-up prices. A quote depends on your route, dates, aircraft and how long the jet waits for you. For general context, see how much it costs to charter a private jet in 2026, and check empty legs for one-way repositioning flights around event week.
